Noah Webster 1828 dictionary, officially titled An American Dictionary
of the English Language, is a landmark work in American lexicography.
Published in 1828, it was the first dictionary to focus on American
English, differentiating it from British English. Noah Webster, a devout
Christian, based his definitions extensively on the King James Version
of the Bible.

singable meter.
